Sea Island Club (Japan) co. ltd.

Aiming for a sustainable cotton business
that is needed by society

Sea Island cotton is not purchased from the cotton market, but is grown under contract with all local farmers, which includes the specifications of cultivation methods.
Cotton should be positioned not only as a material to be consumed, but also as a necessary part of society by reducing the burden on the global environment in cotton cultivation, including consideration for water quality sources and limiting the use of pesticides, improving the working environment for farmers, including child labor and debt labor, and paying fair compensation for their labor.
We will continue to operate a cotton business that will be needed by society 100 years from now.
